With a hydrolytic resistance of HGB1 and acid resistance of S-1, DUROBAX® can withstand the corrosion caused by strong acids, alkaline and saline solutions, organic substances and water, so is ideal for challenging laboratory and industrial environments.

Highly accurate geometry

For applications that demand pinpoint precision, the extraordinarily precise geometry of DUROBAX® offers the highest levels of accuracy. This enables automated processing for glassware in an extensive range of shapes and configurations.

Comprehensive light protection

DUROBAX® amber offers ultraviolet and partly blue light absorption up to a light wavelength of 500 nm, which makes it highly suitable for containers that protect sensitive liquids and materials from UV radiation and extend storage life.

Standard-setting thermal expansion

With a highly stable coefficient of linear thermal expansion (CTE), DUROBAX® is ideal for thermal sensors in sprinkler systems. The accuracy and consistency of its CTE not only provides customers with long-term reliability but defines the industry standard.
