Xensation®

The impressive technical properties of the Xensation® high-performance cover glass make it the ideal solution for applications with the highest demands for break and impact resistance. In the smartphone back cover and smartwatch markets, the powerful Xensation® cover glass stands unrivaled.

Technical excellence for maximum cover glass protection and durability

Exceptional shock resistance

In everyday use, mobile devices frequently face not only falls but also blunt impacts. Xensation® cover glass withstands these impacts exceptionally well, as proven by the ball drop test, another standard test for smartphone cover glass. The high surface tension achieved by the exchange of potassium ions makes the glass highly resistant to different types of impact.

Drop test champion

Break resistance in drop tests is crucial for the selection of smartphone cover glass. Our Xensation® cover glass conquers this challenge through effective chemical strengthening using sodium-ion exchange. Simulated realistic drops from various heights and onto different rough surfaces demonstrate that mobile devices equipped with Xensation® are always optimally protected.

Resilient to scratches

Xensation® α is especially designed with enhanced scratch resistance in mind. Thanks to the special glass composition, the formation of annoying scratches is significantly reduced. The flawless appearance of the glass surface is preserved for a longer time.

Outstanding bending strength

As smartphone designs continue to evolve, becoming bigger, thinner and more intricate, there is an increasing demand for greater bending strength. Xensation® high-performance cover glass is specifically engineered to handle high compressive stresses on the glass surface, showcasing remarkable performance in bending tests and offering optimal protection for devices during daily use.
