Glass Tubing with High UV Transmission
Since UV-C radiation damages the genetic makeup of viruses and microorganisms, it’s widely used for germicidal lamps to sterilize surfaces and objects. UV-C disinfection devices work with wavelengths around 254 nm, making SCHOTT 8337B, 8405 and 8347 ideal for UV-C purifying devices such as UVC-LEDs.
