Product variants

The range of pharmaceutical type I glass tubes includes several variants. While FIOLAX® clear glass (5.0 glass) is the premium standard for pharmaceutical primary packaging, FIOLAX® amber offers additional UV protection for light-sensitive drugs. Our glass of the future, FIOLAX® Pro, scores with its absence from heavy metals, an improved extractables profile. For customers who place a high priority on the product’s carbon footprint, we offer the FIOLAX® Pro OCF product line, which will be available from the beginning of 2027. BORO-8330™ is a high-borosilicate glass (3.3 glass) commonly used in the USA.
