The CERAN® matte line family offers appliance manufacturers two matte surface solutions built on the same proven CERAN® glass-ceramic platform, enabling greater flexibility in product design and market positioning.

CERAN® matte line is the established matte surface solution, combining a sophisticated matte appearance with reliable performance and an attractive balance of functionality and cost efficiency. It is designed to meet the requirements of a wide range of modern cooktop concepts while delivering the trusted quality and cleanability expected from CERAN®.

CERAN® matte line PRO expands the portfolio with a premium matte surface developed for manufacturers who want to further elevate the visual impact and long-term appearance of their appliances. Enabled by a refined production process, CERAN® matte line PRO offers a more matte premium aesthetic with a pure, neutral black appearance, enhanced scratch performance and a better anti-fingerprint effect. At the same time, it maintains the same cleanability and brilliant user interface performance associated with the CERAN® brand.

    Premium scratch performance: Precise testing, reliable results

    The scratch performance of CERAN® matte line PRO was evaluated under controlled laboratory conditions using coated and uncoated CERAN® glass-ceramic samples. Repeated abrasion cycles were conducted using a defined sponge, water and dishwashing liquid setup. Visual assessments were performed under standardized lighting and viewing conditions. The result shows an improved scratch performance: CERAN® matte line PRO maintains its pristine appearance up to 15 times longer¹.
