UV Bandpass Filters

Our UV bandpass filters for the analysis of fluids and gases deliver long-term reliable performance for a broad range of spectroscopic applications. These rugged assembled filters provide high blocking outside the narrow bandpass to ensure a high signal-to-noise ratio.

YOUR ADVANTAGES

  • Narrow bandpass with FWHM 6-15 nm.
  • Passband transmission of 15-30% within λ 200-350 nm.
  • Tight center wavelength tolerances down to +/- 0.5 %.
  • High blocking of typical OD > 4 within a blocking range of λ 200-600 nm.
Low defect
Low defect

Combining our experience and expertise in filter glass with our extensive coating range allows us to provide low-defect AR and UV-cut solutions for cover glasses in CCD and CMOS sensors. Our low-defect coatings are optimized to significantly enhance the environmental durability of SCHOTT BG Filter glasses.

YOUR ADVANTAGES

  • AR coating with typical R < 0.5% from λ 200-700 nm.
  • UV-cut coating with edge position < 430 nm and tolerance +/- 6 nm.
  • High environmental durability with BG-Filter glasses such as BG55.
Laser Protection Filters
Laser Protection Filters

These blocking filters provide the necessary protection for sensitive sensor arrangements or guard the human eye from harmful laser radiation. These filters are used in optronic sensor systems and periscopes for surveillance, detection and target acquisition, providing high blocking of laser wavelengths without sacrificing transmission and color accuracy.

YOUR ADVANTAGES

  • High transmission for the passband T > 95% from λ 400-560 nm.
  • High blocking up to OD > 6.
  • A wide blocking range, from λ 200 nm up to 5 µm.
  • Tight center wavelength and edge tolerances.
  • Able to combine with filter glasses for enhanced blocking > OD 8.
  • Able to combine with Anti-Scratch Hard AR coatings for improved durability.
HMD / HUD Combiner
HMD / HUD Combiner

In head-mounted or head-up displays, SCHOTT coatings enable flat and curved combiner optics to directly project crucial information into the field of view without blocking outside visibility. Notch filters can also be applied on glass and plastic substrates, with very high uniformity to ensure perfect contrast and brightness over the whole display area.

YOUR ADVANTAGES

  • High photopic transmission greater than 80%.
  • High contrast over the entire projection area.
  • Lowest color distortion of the outside for enhanced perception.
