Stefan Brandl has been CEO since November 2026. He is responsible for the Tubing Business Unit as well as the corporate functions Research & Development, Compliance & Legal, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, and Strategic Development. He is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the subsidiary SCHOTT Pharma Management AG.
Stefan Brandl was born in Kitzingen in 1968. He studied electrical engineering with a focus on energy technology at Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences and graduated as a Diplom-Ingenieur. He began his professional career in 1991 at the ebm-papst Group, where he subsequently held various management positions.
