Gene expression analysis

Microarrays are powerful tools for multiplexed gene expression analysis, allowing researchers to measure the activity of thousands of genes simultaneously as well as differential RNA transcript expression.

By hybridizing labeled RNA or cDNA samples to a grid of DNA probes, microarrays reveal which genes are turned on or off under specific conditions or variable levels of ongoing expression.  This high-throughput approach enables insights into cellular responses, disease mechanisms and therapeutic progress, and biomarker discovery.

Protein profiling

Protein–protein interactions (PPIs) drive nearly all biological processes, and microarrays provide an efficient, accurate way to map and quantify them. Each aspect of the microarray can be customized, from surface chemistry and protein immobilization to spotting conditions, assay format (slide, well plate, or cartridge), and batch reproducibility.

Protein microarrays are especially powerful for patient antibody profiling in translational and personalized medicine, diagnostics, and vaccine monitoring. Arrays can be tailored with disease- or target-specific antigens and scaled from research prototypes to clinical-grade production using validated chemistries and QC protocols for consistent, regulatory-ready performance.

Drug discovery

Microarrays, whether DNA, RNA, or protein-based, allow researchers to profile thousands of genes, transcripts, or proteins in parallel. This helps identify disease-associated molecular signatures, pathway activations, and novel therapeutic targets long before a drug candidate is designed.  Focused microarrays can then be used in monitoring efficacy of drug candidates as well as indicate potential off-target complications.

We engineer microarrays to meet you at any discovery stage: early discovery, pre-clinical validation, and clinical translation.

Pathogen detection

Microarrays turn complex infectious-disease detection into a fast, multiplexed, and actionable process – supporting better diagnostics, smarter surveillance, and more responsive public health systems.

Microarrays can be custom-designed to target specific panels – respiratory pathogens, vector-borne diseases, food-borne bacteria, or hospital-acquired infections. We optimize surface chemistry, probe immobilization, and batch QC to ensure reproducibility and regulatory compliance, whether for research use, clinical validation, or IVD deployment.

Clinical diagnostics

Diagnostic tests performed in a clinical laboratory setting range in complexity and format depending on the required detection method, accuracy, and precision. We have broad flexibility of substrate and design capabilities.

For multiplexed biomolecular assays requiring high-precision and accuracy combined with high-throughput capabilities, we can partner with you to develop microarray assays in slide or microtiter plate formats, with a range of assays/substrates to reduce cost/assay.

These formats allow for high-capacity assay flow as well as the standard format.

Point-of-care (POC) diagnostics

Microarrays are often a key component to transition complex laboratory diagnostics into portable, multiplexed, and actionable point-of-care solutions, helping clinicians deliver the right care, at the right time, anywhere in the world.

For point-of-care diagnostics, this is where our technology design flexibility, miniaturization, and cost-efficiency translate into marketable diagnostic products that improve accessibility, speed, and decision-making in healthcare settings.

Life sciences

As a CDMO specializing in microarray development and manufacturing, our role is to help research and diagnostic innovators move from concept to commercialization.

Microarrays revolutionize life sciences by enabling high-throughput, data-rich exploration of biological systems – bridging discovery, diagnostics, and translational medicine. Biosignature screening of large high-density arrays to determine system reactions drives successful translation into diagnostic devices, including companion diagnostics to select the key population for successful drug therapeutics.
