Andrea Frenzel appointed newest member of SCHOTT AG Board of Management

- Starting on April 01, 2023, Dr. Andrea Frenzel (52) will become the newest member of the SCHOTT AG Board of Management, succeeding Hermann Ditz (63), who will enter his well-deserved retirement.
Mrs. Frenzel is currently President of the Intermediates Operating Division at BASF SE in Ludwigshafen. At SCHOTT, she will be assuming responsibility on the Board of Management for three business units and two overarching corporate functions, for which Mr. Ditz was previously responsible.

Short Biography
Andrea Frenzel (52) began her professional career in 1997 at BASF AG. She held several positions at BASF, including Vice President, Business Management Pigments North America for the BASF Corporation. Her most recent role was President, Operating Division Intermediates at BASF SE, which she has held since 2018. She studied chemistry at the University of Göttingen, where she received her diploma and afterwards received her Doctorate Degree in Inorganic Chemistry in 1995.Pioneering – responsibly – together
