We are taking on the challenge – climate neutral by 2030.
Sustainability, as it relates to social responsibility, has been a large part of SCHOTT since the company was founded. For this reason, we are working hard to be the first company in the specialty glass industry to achieve the ambitious goal of “climate neutrality by 2030”. To accomplish this goal, we have defined an action plan with clear fields within our corporate strategy – including a permanent increase in energy efficiency and a long-term technology change. All SCHOTT employees are part of this action plan in various ways, including our global ideas competition.
