Technical Details of CompRite™ Compressor Terminals

Compressor terminals serve as feedthroughs for the wiring that supplies power to compressors. CompRite™ compressor terminals are manufactured using compression glass-to-metal sealing, delivering hermetic electrical insulation with high mechanical strength. CompRite™ compressor terminals provide high performance and excellent durability over long periods, even in harsh operating conditions such as extreme temperature, pressure, humidity, and vibration.

High pressure resistance

CompRite™ compressor terminals provide excellent pressure resistance across a range of compressor applications, including ones using CO₂ (R744) refrigerants, where high pressure resistance is especially important.

Excellent electrical insulation

SCHOTT's compressor terminals with optimized electrical insulation combine glass, rubber, and/or ceramic insulating materials with stringent, well-established manufacturing processes.

Vacuum-tight hermeticity
