Active valves

Our active valve technology offers dynamic fluid management, enabling simplified channel networks to conduct complex reactions with precision. Our solutions are tailored for responsive microfluidic system control and low cost of goods.

Passive valves

Leveraging capillary action and pressure differentials, our passive valves autonomously control fluid flow. Precision fabrication from our state-of-the-art molding capabilities ensures high-performance in fluidic regulation.

Detection modules

Integrated detection modules are the CPU of many microfluidic cartridges. We offer glass and microarray detection modules, and have solutions to integrate a broad portfolio of modules including silicon and electrochemical based sensors.

Sample metering

Our innovative sample port and cap design enables user-friendly, automatic sample filtering and precise microliter metering, essential for quantitative microfluidic assays and high-throughput diagnostics.

Microfluidic mixers & chambers

Our portfolio of microfluidic mixers and chambers are designed for efficiency in PCR, protein, and genomic reactions, ensuring rapid, homogenous mixing and precise environmental control for high-performance microfluidic assays.

Microfluidic channels

Our precision-engineered microfluidic channels, fabricated in a state-of-the-art injection molding facility, ensure sub-micron accuracy in fluidic circuitry, enabling complex designs with diverse cross-sections and aspect-ratios for advanced microfluidic cartridges.

Reagent blisters

Our reagent blisters provide controlled dispensing and extended shelf-life for various materials, including solvents. The proprietary rupture structure of our blisters ensures controlled and precise reagent release in diagnostic cartridges.

Cartridge identification

Our cartridge UDI and branding solutions offer versatility with options like RFID, printed labels, and laser marking. They include barcoding, human-readable info, and customizable branding. From manual to fully automated manufacturing, these solutions scale efficiently for various production needs.

Our cartridge shell offers both form and function - protect your blisters and precise features from damage and customize the branding and look of your product at the same time

Elastomeric valve

Our elastomeric valve membranes enable complex fluidic workflows on cartridges, with options for pneumatic or mechanical actuation. Available in various materials, they integrate seamlessly via solvent bonding, laser welding, or PSA bonding, ensuring reliable sealing and precise fluid control.

Glass subcomponents

Our glass subcomponents are made from SCHOTT NEXTERION® glass substrate, ideal for optical detection, offering high accuracy, durability, and chemical resistance. Custom designs via precision manufacturing ensure optimal performance, with coatings available for specific applications. Dry down slip

We've developed a plug-and-play solution for integrating dry-down reagents. Our Dry Down Slips allow you to dispense, dry-down and process your reagents off-line before integrating with your cartridge with a simple in-line bonding step.

Material selection should be based on analysis of the device’s intended use, the durability of the material and cost. Four of the most common materials used are silicon, glass, polymer and hydrogels.
