Opal Reading Light Series
This modular concept offers an elegantly slimline and functional in-seat reading light design, which can be customized into different shapes, color schemes and finishes depending on individual airline or cabin requirements. New and developed in cooperation with PriestmanGoode, our Opal Cover variant now also perfectly matches seat colors and materials in leather, synthetic leather and fabric.
CHARACTERISTICS
The modular approach also saves time and effort for qualification processes, and elements are easily installed into all types of surface. The Opal lights can also be switched on or off by a soft touch on the faceplate and their wide rotation angle allows the light cone to be adjusted to the passenger’s personal preference.

Jade Reading Light Design Concept
Created in partnership with PriestmanGoode, SCHOTT® Jade is the first touch-operated aviation reading light with an integrated ambient light halo. Made of glass and entirely customizable, it combines an immaculate design aesthetic with intuitive haptic technology.
CHARACTERISTICS
Thanks to modern sensor technology, swiping allows passengers to adjust light position and brightness to create their own illumination experience. The light can be printed with any decor for unlimited design options. The monolithic glass cover is easy to clean and safe to use, reducing needs for maintenance and repairs by up to 90%.

Sapphire Reading Light Design Concept
Created in collaboration with design agency PriestmanGoode, the Sapphire concept brings designer style to modern in-seat reading light. In addition to the reading light function, the integrated ambient light brings an individual magical atmosphere to each seat.

The modular concept comes in different shapes and inlays to offer highly individual options and customized design, as well as saving time and effort for qualification processes. All lights are intuitively adjustable according to passenger preference, with different color temperatures and an integrated mood lighting option available.

SCHOTT’s Semi-Compact Reading Light Series is based on a modular design that combines standard features with customizable qualities, with the wall-mounted adjustable LED lights adding value to the seat design. The series is also certified for all major aircraft platforms and can retrofit easily into just about any project.
