İŞ SAĞLIĞI  ve GÜVENLİĞİ ;
TS ISO 45001 İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliği Yönetim Sistemi ve Schott EHS standartlarının gerekliliklerini yerine getirir.
Çalışma ortamında ortaya çıkabilecek sağlık ve güvenlik risklerini analiz ederek minimize edilmesini sağlar.
İş kazası ve olası acil durumların, tehlikeli durum ve davranışların risklerini proaktif bakış açısıyla en aza indirip, fırsatları da değerlendirerek, hem çalışanlar hem de paydaşları için sağlıklı ve güvenli bir çalışma ortamı oluşturur.
İş sağlığı ve Güvenliği bilincinin oluşturulması ve geliştirilmesi, işyerinde güvenlik kültürünün oluşturulması için eğitim faaliyetleri düzenler ve gerekli tüm kaynakları sağlar.

ÇEVRE;
TS ISO 14001 Çevre Yönetim Sistemi Standardı ve SCHOTT EHS Standardı gerekliliklerini yerine getirerek, kendisini doğanın bir parçası olarak kabul eder.
Çevre konularında şirketin tabi olduğu yerel ve uluslararası mevzuata uyumlu çalışır ve her zaman çevreye saygılı olarak çalışmalarını devam ettirir.
Çevre kirliliğinin önlenmesi için gerekli tüm çalışmaları yaparak atıkların azaltılması, kaynakların verimli kullanılması için sürdürülebilir aksiyonları alır.
İklim değişikliği ile mücadele için gerekli aksiyonları alarak karbon ayak izinin azaltılması için faaliyetler yürütür. Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Hedefleri doğrultusunda risk ve fırsatları değerlendirir ve gerekli tüm kaynakların temin edilmesini sağlar.

The German company SCHOTT that celebrated its 125th establishment anniversary in the past year, takes part in many high level projects in various countries in the world with its product and solutions that combine technology and aesthetics. SCHOTT AG, one of the leading manufacturers in respect of ‘Special Glass’ of the world, continues to carry out the value added projects in Turkey.

Customer satisfaction is our goal

SCHOTT is the leading manufacturer worldwide of special glass; glass ceramics as well as components consist of glass or similar materials. The registered office is in Mainz (Germany). In Turkey, SCHOTT is represented by SCHOTT Cam and Schott Orim. SCHOTT has two factories, Bolu and Çerkezköy. SCHOTT Cam is a sales representative in Turkey for all the products that manufactured by Schott AG, Schott Orim processes glass to the white goods sector.

Schott Orim was established in the Organized Industrial Zone of Bolu in 1989 in order to provide glass for the White Goods sector. . Bolu Factory continues its activities in a total area of 10.000 m², a closed are of 6.000 m². Çerkezköy Factory was established in 2001, in the Organized Industrial Zone of Çerkezköy in a total area of 34.098 m² and a closed area of 18.902 m² and continues its activities.

In the production processes of the factories, there are Glass Cutting, Edge Processing, Hole Drilling, Print (Serigraphy), Temper, Grouping and additional processes in line with the customer request.
In terms of environment, we take care not to use hazardous chemicals in our production processes and wastes are disposed properly. Afforestation projects are carried out in every year within the scope of the social responsibility projects.

Schott Orim Integrated Management System Policy 

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH and SAFETY;
Fulfills the requirements of the TS ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and Schott EHS standards.
Analyzes and ensures the minimization of health and safety risks that may arise in the working environment.
Creates a healthy and safe working environment for both employees and stakeholders by proactively minimizing the risks of occupational accidents, potential emergencies, and hazardous situations and behaviors, while also evaluating opportunities.
Organizes training activities and provides all necessary resources to establish and develop Occupational Health and Safety awareness and to foster a safety culture in the workplace.

Examines new technologies and ensures their integration into processes.
Establishes the necessary communication channels and carries out regular communication activities to understand the needs and expectations of employees or their representatives and all stakeholders.
Conducts regular checks and implements preventive health and safety activities to prevent health deterioration and occupational diseases.
Creates a healthy and safe working environment for all stakeholders and continuously improves its activities in accordance with changing conditions, laws, regulations, and legislation.
Sets transparent and measurable objectives to measure and continuously improve Health and Safety performance, closely monitoring their realization through action plans.

ENVIRONMENT;
Fulfills the requirements of the TS ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard and the SCHOTT EHS Standard, recognizing itself as a part of nature.
Operates in compliance with local and international legislation to which the company is subject regarding environmental issues and always continues its work with respect for the environment.
Takes all necessary actions to prevent environmental pollution and implements sustainable actions for waste reduction and the efficient use of resources.
Carries out activities to reduce its carbon footprint by taking necessary actions to combat climate change. Evaluates risks and opportunities in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and ensures the provision of all necessary resources.
Analyzes significant environmental dimensions and impacts within the life cycle framework of its products and carries out activities to reduce these impacts.
Follows new technologies for the protection of all species, prevention of land degradation, and sustainability of ecosystems, and ensures the integration of these technologies into processes.
Organizes training activities to establish and develop environmental awareness for all stakeholders and to foster an environmental culture in the workplace.
Implements necessary development activities for the conservation and reduction of water consumption used during production, recovery, and all activities.

Sets objectives aligned with the determined strategy for key community outcomes based on the needs and expectations of relevant stakeholders within society, and implements an open information policy towards public authorities and the public.
Ensures the continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System by enhancing environmental performance.

Designs, manages, and improves processes, products, and services to generate increasing value for its customers and other stakeholders by fulfilling the requirements of the TS EN ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standard.
Elevates its integrated management system to a level capable of competing internationally by evaluating and continuously improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and contribution of its processes to strategic goals.

ENERGY;
Contributes to the conservation of natural resources by fulfilling the requirements of the TS ISO 50001 Energy Management System Standard.
Provides all necessary training for the uninterrupted operation of the Energy Management System and carries out appropriate activities to increase consciousness and awareness.
Takes the necessary actions for the planned reduction of energy consumption and the increase of efficiency.
Fulfills all legal and other requirements.
Provides all necessary resources for the sustainability of the Energy Management System's aims and objectives.
Continuously improves energy performance by considering the needs and expectations of all stakeholders.
Develops new technologies and, while considering economic aspects, primarily invests in new and replacement facilities, equipment, and components with increased energy efficiency.
Considers energy efficiency in all design activities and conducts activities within this framework.

INFORMATION SECURITY;
Manages its information assets in accordance with the requirements of the TS EN ISO 27001 Information Security Management System Standard; determines the security values, needs, and risks of assets, and develops and implements controls for security risks.
Fulfills legal and relevant legislative requirements, meets obligations arising from agreements, and meets and continuously improves the information security requirements arising from the company's responsibilities towards internal and external stakeholders.
