Efficiency that pays off

    FAQs

The basic challenge in a freezer application is to keep the outer surfaces free of condensation, despite of the temperature difference between the shop environment and the inside of the freezer. For example for heated glass doors the glass surface temperature is lifted above the so-called dew point with the help of heatable glass.

In passive doors the glass surface is kept free of condensation with the help of a high performance insulation glass configuration. In addition the anti-fog coating on the rear (inner) glass prevents visible condensation after the doors are opened.

Whereas passive doors are preferred for moderate shop conditions due to their energy efficiency, heated doors are the choice for challenging climate conditions with high humidity, for example in countries such as Australia or Brazil.
The primary energy saving is often in a magnitude of 700 kWh/sqm of glass surface per year.
Various colors are offered. The standard colors for aluminium profiles are natural anodized and black anodized.

The standard colors for glass printing are: RAL7035 and RAL9005

Other colors are available upon request, depending on the order quantity.
