Testimonial Ulas Günes - HR Partner Apprenticeship
For ten years, I have been guiding young people as a trainer on their path to becoming skilled professionals.
As a trainer for machine and plant operators, I am responsible, among other things, for shift planning, coordinating transfers, and determining which employees are assigned to which teams. It is especially rewarding for me to witness the development of young people: they often begin with little experience—and complete their training as self-confident individuals. Every new group brings fresh energy, and that is precisely what makes my daily work so varied.
In addition to technical training, I also serve as a confidant for both personal and professional matters. Many former trainees continue to seek exchange even later on—which shows me how important it is to have a solid foundation at the outset. Within the team, I experience open, family-like collaboration where people know and support one another—despite the size of the site.
For me, SCHOTT is a regionally rooted company that aligns with my values. Even after ten years, working with technical special glass continues to inspire me. At the same time, I value the good balance between work and private life. For me, working at SCHOTT means taking responsibility and supporting young talents on their journey in a sustainable way.
What matters here is collaboration.
