Andrea Frenzel joined the Management Board in April 2023. She is responsible for the Business Units Advanced Optics, Electronic Packaging, and Lighting and Imaging as well as for the Corporate Functions Technical Services, Operational Technology, Operational Excellence, and Environment, Health & Safety.
Andrea Frenzel was born in Göttingen, Germany, in 1970. She studied Chemistry at the University of Göttingen, where she received her diploma followed by a Doctorate Degree in Inorganic Chemistry in 1995. From 1996 to 1997, she was a PostDoc at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, USA.
