Light with a soul
With the human eye confined to visible light, we’ve long used imaging system to see further and more. SCHOTT scientists are driving research into optical sensor technology, in particular the hyperspectral and multi-spectral imaging systems, which gather and interpret light from across the electromagnetic spectrum; these optical sensor technologies interpret and display this light in a way that humans can understand. The latest SCHOTT IR glasses provide perfect solutions for them – they exhibit transparency from the visible through the long-wave IR.
The special light with soul
Conceived with the spirit of invention, developed with market knowledge: With LuminaLine, SCHOTT presents a lighting concept that inspired designers and engineers with its aesthetic and application variety, and has been promptly recognized with the German Innovation Award 2018 as well as the “Red Dot: Best of the Best” award. The interior of the glass composite light guide – a fiber glass known as the soul – shines with homogeneous, powerful light. The clad surrounding the soul is thermally toughened, making it extremely strong and resistant to chemical substances, heat and moisture. Discover the special light with soul.
