Excellent light properties

PURAVIS® glass optical fibers offer outstanding transmission of white light, with a low color shift ensuring that illuminated objects retain their natural color, even in long-length applications. Thanks to their large acceptance angle, the fibers also capture more light from the very start, while their very low dispersion results in high color uniformity.

Long lifetime

Outstanding chemical and mechanical stability results in PURAVIS® fibers having a long lifespan. This is vital for the effectiveness of medical reprocessing techniques such as autoclaving and cleaning, as well as industrial applications using high temperatures or hazardous chemical substances. The fibers can even be immersed in water fountains and swimming pools.
