SCHOTT Termofrost® Smart Access
The first hands-free opening door system for multideck cabinets was recognized with the Gold Award 2018 in the category retail from German Design Council. We are proud to announce that this glass door system was recently honored for its outstanding design from one of the premium international design prizes. This prestigious award marks the importance of technology for comfortable and experience-oriented shopping.
The product concept for SCHOTT Termofrost® Smart Access of has been developed with our partner NOA Design, Aachen.
Glass doors which can detect – and then magically open – when a customer wants to take a refrigerated food product from the display case. The effect is achieved with an integrated sensor. It reacts to any movement within a defined radius of action. The space-saving doors automatically slide open. Made entirely of glass and with no frames, this virtually invisible door system provides shoppers with a panoramic view of food and beverages.
