More often than not, these highly sensitive electronic components are integrated into the engine compartment, where they are exposed to harsh environmental influences. These include extreme temperature fluctuations, mechanical vibrations, high pressure, and exposure to aggressive substances such as engine oil, fuel, and brake fluid. As such, it is extremely important to provide long-term protection for sensors to support their reliable functionality in vehicles.
