SCHOTT Glass India conducts its SCHOTT FIOLAX® Scholarship Program for the 6th year

SCHOTT Glass India announces its sixth SCHOTT FIOLAX® Scholarship Program in India for higher studies in pharmacy; Young women students outperform again.

In the sixth year of SCHOTT FIOLAX® Scholarship Program, SCHOTT awarded ten scholarships to meritorious students pursuing Bachelors (B. Pharmacy) and Masters (M. Pharmacy) Degrees in Pharmacy in Mumbai and Gujarat.

The process of selecting candidates for SCHOTT FIOLAX Scholarship Program was completed with a final list of five B. Pharmacy students: Ms. Niyati Niranjan Kodange, Ms. Vaibhavi Meghraj Desai, Ms. Sanaya Satyendra Shenoy, Ms. Nandini Bhalchandra Savardekar, Ms. Ashritha Narayan, and three M. Pharmacy students including Mr. Nachiket Dandekar, Ms. Sayali Bhandarkar and Ms. Krutika Vengurlekar (for Mumbai Region) and one B. Pharmacy student Ms. Dhruvi Patel and one M Pharmacy student Ms. Ayushi Tewari (for Gujarat region).

The shortlisted eight candidates from Mumbai region were awarded gift cheques of Rs. 25000/- each by Mr. Sundeep Prabhu, Vice President Sales and Marketing, SCHOTT Glass India Pvt. Ltd during a special award ceremony. The winners have also been offered an exclusive tour of SCHOTT Glass India’s pharmaceutical tubing plant in Jambusar District, Gujarat.

“This is the sixth consecutive year that we’ve successfully run the SCHOTT FIOLAX® Scholarship program. We are thrilled to see the enthusiasm of participating students and teachers alike, which has grown tremendously over the years. This means that although the shortlisting process becomes more difficult, we feel immensely proud of these hard-working students who strive to excel in the field of pharmacy,” said Mr. Prabhu.

The process of selecting candidates for the SCHOTT FIOLAX® Scholarship Program 2019 was completed in September 2019, in which eight ten meritorious students were shortlisted from various colleges in Mumbai and Gujarat. More than 150 applicants were able to clear the eligibility criteria that demanded more than 70 percent in Second Year for B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy students.
