Advanced materials such as D 263© bio and BOROFLOAT® 33, colorless borosilicate glasses, or Foturan II, a photo-sensitive glass wafer enabling extremely fine structures and vias, provide optimal solutions for a variety of market demands including optical diagnostic, biotech applications and microscopy. Moreover, functional coatings from SCHOTT NEXTERION® find its use in a wide range of applications for genomic and proteomic research and diagnostics. The substrates are available in custom formats and coatings. An optional structuring of the glass into the final chip size offers an effective solution even for very small formats.

Analytical instruments used in research and clinical laboratories can further be equipped with precise lighting solutions. The customized light sources and fiber optic light guides for different wavelengths provide constant, stable and prolonged light intensity to ensure that experts see more of what they need to see.

SCHOTT’s advanced portfolio of high-performance solutions and products enable fast, reliable and reproducible results for diagnostics applications. Visit us in hall 8B, booth H08 to find out more about the latest solutions.
