SCHOTT to Launch Innovation Offensive at the CPhI 2013

Mainz/Frankfurt, September 26, 2013 – The technology group and leading manufacturer of primary pharmaceutical packaging SCHOTT will be exhibiting at this year's pharmaceutical trade fair InnoPack/CPhI in Frankfurt under the heading “Customized Innovation.” From October 22 – 24, 2013, visitors can look forward to learning more about innovative packaging solutions that address topics like how to prevent delamination and lyophilization of nested packaging products at SCHOTT’s booth 41D21.

The company has not yet announced any further details, but points to two presentations that will be held as part of the “CPhl Speaker’s Corner.” Product Manager Gregor Deutschle will be comparing process-related demands that are being placed on nested primary packaging with the solutions SCHOTT has to offer in this area (October 23 at 10:30 AM). Furthermore, Dr. Bernhard Hladik, Head of Product Management, will be explaining product solutions and test procedures on delamination. His presentation on October 23 will start at 3:30 PM. SCHOTT has been working on both of these topics together with its customers and filling line manufacturers.

In addition, SCHOTT pharma services will be presenting its range of analytical laboratory services on primary pharmaceutical packaging. The focus here will be on new analytical methods for use with delamination and extractables and leachables.
