Reliable protection against harmful radiation

A cerium-doped material composition enables SCHOTT® Solar Glass 0787 to block harmful UV radiation and protect against high-energy particle radiation. Solar Glass 0787 also achieves a high transmittance in the visible spectrum of light up to near-infrared without significant loss of transmittance from the effects of solarization.

Flexible design to suit your mission

SCHOTT’s decades of experience and expertise in glass manufacturing allows Solar Glass 0787 to be produced in several different thicknesses directly drawn from the melting tank. This includes ultra-thin and flexible glass, available as cut-to-size substrates. Design opportunities are further enhanced with the availability of different coatings.

SCHOTT® Solar Glass 0787 is space-qualified to ECSS-E-ST-20-08C standard, and it also complies with EU-RoHS and EU-REACH standards. We are both ISO 9001 and 14001 certified.
