CERAN®

CERAN® has been a value-add in kitchens for many decades. Its success stems from ist technical credentials. Based on a low CTE, the material has a high resistance to temperature differences and thermal shock. Aditionally, impact resistance and a strong aesthetic look result in a tough glass-ceramic that lasts a lifetime.

Cooking with CERAN® confidence

Focused heat where it’s needed

The temperature difference resistance of SCHOTT CERAN® glass-ceramic is a vital feature. It means the cooktop panel can withstand high differences in temperature between the cooking zone and the cold edge of the panel without danger of cracks, breakage or deterioration from thermal stress.

Sustainable, natural materials

With consumer awareness of the importance of sustainability growing every day, it’s good to know that CERAN® products are made chiefly from natural substances such as quartz sand. This means it’s harmless to food and suitable for recommended glass-ceramic cleaning products.

Exceptional long-term durability

One of the key USPs of SCHOTT CERAN® is its durability. This glass-ceramic can withstand sudden temperature shocks of up to 700 ˚C without difficulty. And whether used in the home or in a professional kitchen, it maintains its stable and reliable high-quality performance.

Looks that last

CERAN® doesn’t just function well long-term, it keeps looking good too. A surface that's extremely resistant to impact ensures its stylish appearance won’t fade quickly. It is also chemically resistant and compatible with many detergents, providing easy and quick cleaning.
