Glass lamination involves at least two plates of glass being joined together with an adhesive layer. The glass can be laminated either after AR coating (to provide a standard format for cutting to size) or at the end of the processing chain (after cutting to size, processing edges, printing and toughening).
The adhesive layer usually comprises PVB or EVA films which also enable the production of standards-compliant safety glass.
It is important to be aware that laminating AR glass involves coating only of the exterior surface (no contact to the adhesive layer)!
