Reflectors
Whether for industrial or home use ellipsoid or parabolic, cold light or colour ...
|
SCHOTT has a core competence in the design and manufacture of pressed borosilicate reflectors. This competence is further enhanced by expertise in proprietary coating technology. Due to this expertise customised coatings are available.
|
Applications
|
- Reflectors for low-voltage halogen lamps: SCHOTT manufactures reflectors for low-voltage, medium voltage and high voltage halogen lamps in standardised MR and PAR designs.
- Reflectors for gas discharge lamps: Since the geometry of gas discharge lamps differs a great deal from that of halogen lamps, alternative reflectors are required. A high quality, 'hard' coating is particularly important.
- Digital projection reflectors using SCHOTT glass substrates and our customised coatings for the projection of films, photos, videos, television and multimedia
- Reflectors for fibre-optic systems in medical, technical and traffic/automotive applications
- Reflectors for surgical applications
