Reflectors

Whether for industrial or home use ellipsoid or parabolic, cold light or colour ...

SCHOTT has a core competence in the design and manufacture of pressed borosilicate reflectors. This competence is further enhanced by expertise in proprietary coating technology. Due to this expertise customised coatings are available.

Applications

  • Reflectors for low-voltage halogen lamps: SCHOTT manufactures reflectors for low-voltage, medium voltage and high voltage halogen lamps in standardised MR and PAR designs.
  • Reflectors for gas discharge lamps: Since the geometry of gas discharge lamps differs a great deal from that of halogen lamps, alternative reflectors are required. A high quality, 'hard' coating is particularly important.
  • Digital projection reflectors using SCHOTT glass substrates and our customised coatings for the projection of films, photos, videos, television and multimedia
  • Reflectors for fibre-optic systems in medical, technical and traffic/automotive applications
  • Reflectors for surgical applications
