Glass Filtration
A comprehensive range of glassware enabling a wide variety of filtering and vacuum work to be carried out. In the range you will find numerous glass funnels, Buchner Funnels, filter crucibles, gas washing bottles and filtering flasks as well as the popular rubber gaskets known as 'Guko' sets.

In this section the SCHOTT Filter Head with interchangeable filter discs can be found. The filter heads come in three capacities and with each able to take one of 4 different porosity filter discs, it is possible to obtain 12 different filter rates. DURAN® screwfilters have many advantages over conventional filter units:

- interchangeable filter discs
- safe and simple removal of the filtered material
- longer lasting discs, as no damage is caused by scraping off the filtered material
- easy cleaning of the filter disc from both sides
- slit sieve can be used to support membrane and paper filters
- economical, both filter discs and units can be ordered individually, as required.

For vacuum work, the SCHOTT filter flasks and bottles are ideal and are available in capacities ranging from 100ml to 20 litres. Great flexibility can be achieved by the variety of side arms available as standard fittings on this range. Some flasks and bottles have glass outlets as an integral part of the product but others have plastic fittings to permit easy, rapid connection and disconnection to the external vacuum tubing and equipment.
