Bottles
DURAN® ISO laboratory bottles are chemically resistant, stable and are available with or without a blue plastic screw cap and pouring ring. Bottles can be supplied in clear glass, amber coated glass or plastic coated clear glass. Supplemented by a plastic pouring ring, the bottles provide drip free pouring.
Since all bottles from 100 ml upwards have the same size screw thread, a GL 45, the need to maintain a variety of different sizes is eliminated. Bottle, pouring ring and screw cap can be sterilised by autoclaving in steam at 135°C for 20 minutes. In addition to the Blue cap other available colours are Yellow, Green and Grey. The pouring rings for the Yellow, Green and Grey caps are only available in a colourless plastic.

A Red plastic screw cap and Red pouring ring, able to withstand hot air sterilisation up to 180 °C, are also available for these bottles.
To compliment the range of ISO bottles there is a range of Square DURAN® Bottles in capacities of 100ml, 250ml, 500ml and 1000 ml with the three largest sizes all having the same GL 45 screw thread. The 100ml has a GL32 screw thread.
SCHOTT Reagent bottles come in capacities from 50 ml to 20 litre and in either a wide neck or narrow neck version. With the options of either DURAN® or Soda Lime materials plus glass stopper, plastic stoppers or no stopper, the combinations are sufficient to meet all demands.
Care should be taken when using DURAN® glass stoppers with soda lime bottles as they may become stuck in the neck if the temperature diference exceeds 30 °C.
