MIROGARD®

When exhibiting works of fine art the glass shouldn't be visible

When the light falls on exhibits and artwork behind ordinary glass they are often impossible to see. There is dazzle from reflected light in the room which makes the details look blurred. With MIROGARD®, on the other hand, even the smallest detail can be seen quite clearly.
MIROGARD® is a highly specialised optical, colourless, anti-reflective glass which not only permits practically reflective-free viewing but also, on a low-iron white glass, it improves the colour neutrality of exhibits.
MIROGARD Protect® provides extra protection against the harmful effects of UV radiation by blocking out 99% of the UV rays.
MIROGARD® can also be supplied in large pane sizes as anti-vandal safety glass.

You can't see MIROGARD® but you can see how it works

Internationally famous museums and galleries, picture framers and showcase manufacturers have used MIROGARD® for many years. For example the State Art Collection in Dresden, the Solomon R Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Tate Gallery in London, the Musée du Louvre in Paris, the Hermitage in St Petersburg and the Stichting van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. These are just a few examples from a long list which demonstrate the effectiveness of MIROGARD®.
