Characteristics of AF 45™ thin glass

AF 45 is an alkali free borosilicate with a high proportion of BaO and Al2O3.
Alkali-free raw materials are used for the synthesis of AF 45.

Characteristics:

Outstanding:

  • Alkali-free with regard to raw materials used
  • Low coefficent of thermal expansion
  • Excellent thermal resistance
  • High light transmission
  • Excellent surface quality

Dimensions

  • Max: 440 mm x 360 mm (size on request)
  • Thicknesses: 0.05 mm to 0.5 mm (special thicknesses on request)
  • Option to supply dimensions, processing and tolerances according to customer specifications.
  • Rectangular formats in all thicknesses; round / wafer formats 0.1 mm and above
