B 270^® Flat Glass

To meet a variety of different market demands, SCHOTT offers its well-known B 270^® crown glass in sheet form.

B 270^®, manufactured using the up-draw technology process, B 270^® exhibits:

High stability with respect to solarization
High transmittance in the visible wavelength range
High thermal and chemical stability
A fire-polished surface

These features all contribute to its ideal suitability in numerous applications.

B 270^® is available in a wide range of thicknesses, various stock sizes and shapes, as well as custom sizes and shapes (e.g. circles). It can also be processed upon request.
