SCHOTT Malaysia's "Total Customer Care" is the company vision towards total commitment in quality. Being an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified organization, we continuously seek ways to improve our product and service quality. QA personnel are trained continuously and plans are underway for designing suitable control in all departments to achieve departmental goals. Quality Control is incorporated in the process.

Technical and QA personnel conduct failure analysis in process. A Material Review Board was set up to review incoming materials and customer complaint. Our Quality Assurance team is professionally trained to design suitable process control in all departments. Quality requirement is incorporated in the process through failure analysis. With our wide range of raw glass inventory, variety of machine types and years of experience in the glass industry, we are confident of meeting your requirements.

Homogeneity

All mouldings are fine-annealed to maintain the optical refractive index scattering to ±2 x 10-4. On special request, improved refractive index scattering to ±3 x 10-5 can be supplied.

Stress Birefringece

Stress Birefringence is maintained within 10nm/cm for moulded blanks. On special request, blanks that are down to 4nm/cm stress birefringence can be supplied.
