General Information

The raw optical glass comes in various forms (e.g. Block, slabs, strips, rods, etc.) and are moulded using a reheat-press (RP) process into blanks of different shapes and sizes.

SCHOTT Malaysia stands firmly behind the SCHOTT Group's Corporate Philosophy to excel in quality. Stringent control is installed both in process and inspection to ensure that on dimension, finishing, as well as on inherent characteristics such as glass homogeneity, stress briefringence and bubble/striae content are strictly adhered to.
