10th Otto Schott Research Award

For many years, his name has been intrinsically linked with the manufacturing of unique new cermic laser materials. Already in 1995, he produced laser performances similar to those of monocrystals. These resulted in intensive research and development activities that produced new ceramic techniques and a broad range of applications for the materials produced with these advanced techniques.
