COC Polymer

Pharmaceutical containers made of COC - an advanced cyclic olefin copolymer of the highest purity - are break resistant, light weight and transparent with a glass-like appearance. COC high tech polymer shows excellent barrier properties, no ion or heavy metal release, and a lower particle level than glass. The high moisture barrier enables the long-term storage of drugs – even in small containers. High design flexibility allows customized solutions.

TOPAS^®1 is an advanced cyclic olefin copolymer (COC). The production of TOPAS^® granulate is a strictly controlled process based on metallocene technology. It provides a 100% uniform material with excellent chemical and physical properties, suitable for the long-term storage of parenterals.
