Mainz, November 17, 2011 – This week, German technology group SCHOTT and the Chinese company Zhejiang Xinkang Pharmaceutical Glass Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to establish a pharmaceutical packaging joint venture in China. SCHOTT will own the majority of shares of the new company that will supply the fast-growing Chinese pharmaceutical market with high-quality pharmaceutical packaging products made of glass. The closing of the joint venture is subject to customary closing conditions. More

SCHOTT at PDA Europe: new test method for delamination
Basel/Mainz, November 8, 2011– At the 2011 PDA Universe of Pre-filled Syringes and Injection Devices in Basel, SCHOTT Pharmaceutical Systems today announced that it has developed a new test method for the field of delamination that allows for a quick routine control of the delamination tendency of tubular glass vials.
