Glass fibers are sensitive to external interference. A protective sheathing enables them to resist both mechanical and thermal stresses, as well as aggressive liquids or gases. They are also electrically non-conducting and can therefore be used in hazerdous zones or atmospheres or in high electro-magnetic fields. Light conducting cable in continuous form is processed into individual cable light guides by cutting the cable to length and optically treating the end faces. A wide assortment of standardized cable diameters, sheathing types and end terminations is at our disposal.
