Tapers
Tapers from SCHOTT Lighting and Imaging provide a method of magnifying or reducing an image with minimum distortion in image transfer applications. All tapers are fabricated to customer specific requirements and can be machined into configurations from round to round, square to square, round to square or rectangular. Diameters up to 75 mm are possible with magnification ratios up to 3:1.

Typical applications for tapers from SCHOTT include image magnification or minification, image coupling to CCD or CMOS devices, intensified video imaging and biological imaging, displays and avionics.
