SCHOTT Fiber Optics provide critical, multi-fiber components to the healthcare industry for high throughput methods of molecular diagnostics. These components are used in genomics, proteomics, drug discovery and micro-fluidic systems.

SCHOTT's intagliated faceplates provide micro-well arrays for individual optical analysis of fluorescence or luminescence based reactions. Controlled depth and pitch, along with special optically absorbing glasses allow for optimum control and isolation for analysis. A variety of density levels can be achieved to meet specific requirements.



SCHOTT's linear and plate formatted capillary arrays are flow-through designs that are optimized for precision filtration applications, along with photo reactive analysis and genetic testing. Flexibility with key parameters such as capillary inner diameter (ID), aspect ratio, plate thickness and density allow our customers to customize these components to address their system needs.
