Glass Reflectors
SCHOTT produces reflectors made of borosilicate glass SUPRAX®8488 for front and rear projection in DLP, LCD and LCOS projectors. SCHOTT offers a wide variety of shapes and optical designs tailored to technical demands.
Glass-Ceramic Reflectors
SCHOTT has developed a special glass-ceramic for high-performance lamps. Due to a very low thermal expansion for glass-ceramics, reflectors made of this material can be used at very high operating temperatures. They can easily withstand high temperature shifts in the application without building up tension, thus making glass-ceramic an ideal material for this
application.
SCHOTT PI Coating®
Reflectors coated with the patented SCHOTT PI Coating® have dichroic layers that offer high light reflection, high IR transmission, as well as uniform spectral properties, which last during the entire service life of the application.
