History

How CERAN® became a high flyer

It all began with a visionary idea. Why not take an exceptional glass-ceramic product and combine it with appropriate applications technology, such as a futuristic cooktop? This would ensure the complete compatibility of all the cooktop's features, right down to modified standards for pots and pans, and tried and tested cleaners.

Success quickly followed. CERAN® soon became synonymous with enjoyable cooking in an attractive kitchen – in millions of households. In the future, as in the past, CERAN® glass-ceramic panels are sure to win an enthusiastic response from consumers and to conquer new markets, no matter what energy sources are available.
