SCHOTT Termofrost is one of the few manufacturers able to customize the coating to suit a client's specific needs due to our unique coating furnace.
All insulated glass units are double sealed, with a primary sealant of Butyl and a secondary sealant of Polysulphide.

The LT version contains a small glass pack made of an insulation glass with either two or three panes of safety glass. The internal surface of the outermost pane is covered with a thin and colourless layer of tin oxide. The tin oxide is connected to a 220-volt alternating current, which heats the glass to around room temperature, regardless of the internal temperature of the cold storage unit. Through this process, condensation is eliminated, which allows a clear view, thereby reducing the time that the customer holds the door open, leading to reduced energy consumption and better refrigeration efficiency.

The location of the exit wires is completely independent and can be customized to your application. High quality desiccant is used to ensure no condensation between glass panes.
All heated insulated glass units, doors and frames are electrically tested for function and safety by conductivity, earth leakage and high voltage breakdown test up to 3500 V DC.
