Pressure sensors are measuring instruments that record the pressure of gases and liquids and convert the result into an electrical signal. There are different types of pressure sensors - absolute and differential pressure sensors are the most frequently used types of sensors for industrial, automotive and also medical applications.

Pressure sensors are extremely sensitive to overloading and can be irreparably damaged if the measuring range is exceeded. Pressure sensors can be reliably protected using hermetically sealed glass-to-metal housing components.

The materials used in the housing components are of foodgrade and are therefore suitable for use in not only transport applications, but also in food storage applications. For example, stainless steel or titanium metal housings can be offered to customers in the medical electronics industry for pressure monitoring. Features / Specifications

The glass-to-metal sealed feedthroughs are suitable for measuring extremely high pressures (up to 2,000 bar) as well as for recording extremely small pressure differentials.
