Housings for Oil Pressure Sensors

Housings for Oil Pressure Sensors

To ensure that oil flows continuously to the cylinders and pistons for lubrication, the oil pressure must be constant in the engine while it is running. If the oil flow should stop, the engine will sustain serious damage. Modern sensors continuously measure the oil pressure in the lubrication circuit and are thus able to control optimal levels of oil flow.

Product Description

We offer a range of customized housings for sensors, mostly based on transistor outline(TO) models, for use in lubrication circuits.

Product Advantages

Glass-to-metal sealed feedthroughs are impervious to oil, heat, gas and vibrations over their entire lifetime. The sensors' seals also remain reliably hermetic to ensure optimal performance.

Applications

Oil pressure sensors are key to maintaining constant oil pressure and are an integral part of the engine management system.

Technology

Our feedthroughs are manufactured using highly corrosion-resistant materials in pressure glazing technology and are produced according to individual customer's specifications.

To achieve the reliable hermeticity of these housing components, glass-to-metal sealing technology is used. Please click on this page for more information.
