SPECTARIS - High-Tech Industry Association

SPECTARIS is a German industry association for optical, medical and mechatronische technologies. The products produced from the areas such as Consumer Optics, Photonik, precision technology, Mechatronik or medicine technology can be found in almost all areas of life at home. These key technologies are found in most branches of the economy and are an important motor of Germany`s economy.

Initiative Light Alliance

Light creates the future: The initiative Light Alliance shows the potential of optical technology

The Light Alliance was founded by the industry association SPECTARIS together with eleven companies, among them SCHOTT. Those eleven companies in cooperation with SPECTARIS aim at drawing attention to the key role, which optical technologies play in German industry and research. Besides, the goal of the campaign is to demonstrate job prospects for qualified employees.

The Light Alliance was introduced at the trade fair “Laser. World of Photonics” in 2009 in Munich.
