GFA Goethe Finance Association

The Goethe Finance Association (GFA) e.V. is a non-profit organization with the objective to promote research and teaching in the Department of Finance and Economics at the Goethe University of Frankfurt. The program is made possible through the financial donations of club members and Sponsors.

The GFA board is composed of Prof. Dr. Mark Wahrenburg (President), Prof. Dr. Reinhard H. Schmidt (Vice-President) and Prof. Dr. Raimond Maurer

Priciples of Association

Association members consist of students and alumni of the Department of Finance and Business. The GFA supports and facilates active networking among members.

Membership in the GFA means that:

As a students, you are able to contact alumni and companies

As a participant, you are in a network with other alumni and key organisations

As a corporate, you get access and contacts to students, alumni and scientists of the Finance Department.

As one of a few industrial companies SCHOTT sponsors the GFA. We want to get in touch with finance students as we are looking for potentials for our yearly SCHOTT International Graduate Program in finance & financial controlling.
