Klaus Rübenthaler

As a member of the Board of Management, Klaus Rübenthaler is responsible for Corporate Controlling & Accounting, Corporate Treasury, Corporate Taxes & Insurance, Corporate Sales & Market Development, Corporate Information Technology and Global Purchasing. He also serves as supervisory board chairman and supervisory board member at several SCHOTT subsidiaries.

Klaus Rübenthaler was born in Pirmasens, Germany on September 20, 1960. He completed his training with a 'Diplom-Betriebswirt' master's degree in business administration at the Karlsruhe Professional Academy in 1985. He has over 20 years' experience in the fields of finance, marketing and general management – chiefly within the Kömmerling Group, where his last post from 1995 to 2000 was Managing Director.
