Heinrich J. Klein Foundation

The Foundation has set itself the aim of promoting scientific achievement and international exchange by awarding grants to students inside and outside Germany. The Foundation sponsors German scientists visiting other countries and young, promising scientists from outside Germany visiting Germany for a fixed period of scientific study or work. Students up to age twenty-eight, or in exceptional circumstances, up to thirty-three, who are already involved in scientific work at home are eligible for a grant to attend summer courses, spend a study semester abroad, or contribute to existing projects or carry out their own; in addition, the Foundation’s administrator, SCHOTT AG, must have a location in the country where the application is made. The successful candidates will be selected, and the level of sponsorship set, by a committee at the Foundation. Heinrich J. Klein Foundation
